Today, PET market prices remain weak and stable.The main raw material for polyester, PTA, closed higher today, providing some support to PET on the cost side. However, downstream buyers remain cautious and there are negative supply expectations weighing on the market, resulting in a narrow decrease in PET market prices today. PTA spot price rose by 85 to 6,045. Crude oil climbed overnight and PX moved up today, offering some cost support to PTA. In addition, as demand picked up at lower levels and supply continued to decline, both PTA futures and spot markets saw a slight upward trend today.
