With the resumption of LNG supply from the Middle East, India lifts restrictions on natural gas supply
Golden Ten Data reported on July 5 that the Indian government issued a notice on Saturday stating that, with LNG supplies from the Middle East restored, the country has lifted previously imposed restrictions on gas suppliers. Earlier, due to disruptions in LNG transportation through the Strait of Hormuz, India launched emergency measures in March to redirect gas supplies from non-priority sectors to critical users.
