Czech Economic Outlook Update
According to the latest projections, Brent crude oil prices are expected to hover near US$100 per barrel during March and April, before easing down to approximately US$80 per barrel by September. Factoring in these price trends, along with anticipated disruptions in the Middle East that could impact supply chains, raw materials, business confidence, and Czech exports, the forecast for Czech real GDP growth has been revised to 2.5% for both this year and the next. There remains a significant risk that this estimate could be lowered further.
chartHeadline inflation is projected to average 2.1% this year, rising to 2.6% in the following year. This outlook takes into account certain non-linear effects, such as the influence of increased regulated prices expected in 2027.
