Bitget CFD officially launches the private elite portfolio feature

To meet the growing demand for more advanced elite trading management, Bitget will officially launch the CFD private elite portfolio feature on July 29, 2026.

A private elite portfolio is an invite-only copy trading model. Under this model, only users who receive your access code or invitation link can copy your trades—it is not open to the public.

What can it do for you?

Protect your strategy: Only users you invite can copy your trades, helping keep your trading strategy private.

Track performance by affiliate channel: Share different invitation links across different affiliate channels to track conversion performance across affiliate channels.

Run side by side: A private elite portfolio operates independently of a public elite portfolio. The same elite trader can run one public portfolio and one private portfolio simultaneously, with performance data tracked separately.

Who can join, and what are the limits?

Copier limit: A private elite portfolio supports up to 100 copiers by default (independent of the public portfolio's copier limit). Each portfolio can create up to 10 invitation links.

Slot usage: Once a user successfully starts copy trading through an invitation link, one slot is used. Canceling copy trading does not free up the slot. The user must use a new slot or another invitation link to join again.

Copier requirements: Users on older app versions cannot join directly and must update to version 2.90.0 or later. Deleting an invitation link does not affect users who have already joined through it.

About affiliate copy trading: Bitget provides affiliates with an additional access control feature, which must be enabled separately by the platform. After it is enabled, you'll need to configure an affiliate code, and only users whose affiliate information matches can copy your trades.
  
Where can you find it?

After your portfolio is created, a CFD (Private) tab will appear in your Elite Trader Center.

Once copiers successfully join, the portfolio will also appear with a "Private" tag in their Copier Center.
  
How to get started

1. Elite traders: Create a portfolio and invite copiers

Create a portfolio: Go to the TradFi page, open the Copy tab, and apply to become an elite trader. On the CFD portfolio creation page, select Private. Enter the profit-sharing ratio (0% - 50%, whole numbers only) and trading amount, then select Create. (Note: Each user can create only one private elite portfolio. If you're prompted that one already exists, you'll need to close the existing portfolio first.)

Create an invitation link: On the CFD (Private) tab, select Create and set the maximum number of invitees (1–100).

New user toggle: Choose whether to enable "Copy trading for invited users only." This setting cannot be changed after the link is created. If disabled, anyone who obtains the link during its validity period can copy your trades. Generate the access code and invitation link, then share them.
  
2. Copiers: Join a portfolio

Method 1: Open the elite trader's profile directly via their private invitation link and start copying.

Method 2: Manually enter the access code (supports numbers and letters, up to 8 characters) on the elite trader's profile. Once verified, you'll be taken to the copy trading settings page.
  
3. Elite traders: Remove a copier

On the CFD (Private) tab, open the copier list, find the copier you want to remove, open their details, and select Remove. There is no asset requirement for removing a copier.
