$GRVT Celestia [$TIA] plunged 14.03% in 24 hours at press time, as fresh macroeconomic uncertainty triggered heavy selling across the altcoin market, deepening its recent losses.
This steep decline accompanied the Federal Reserve’s hawkish stance and persistent inflation concerns, which weakened demand for riskier altcoins.
Particularly, the Federal Reserve preserved its cautious monetary policy stance on the 28th of October. Additionally, September’s PCE inflation matched expectations at 3.6% annually, validating concerns about extended restrictive interest rates.
Despite the price decline, the token’s trading volume interestingly surged 38.04% to $72.72 million.
This divergence implied an elevated trading activity during the sell-off, even though the volume increase could not solely establish sellers’ dominance.
$TIA traders retreat as Open Interest collapses
Celestia’s derivatives market registered a considerable contraction in trader exposure, beyond the spot market decline.
According to CoinGlass, $TIA’s Open Interest (OI) dropped 28.60% to $75.86 million, suggesting that traders closed positions as the token’s price continued falling. The shrinking OI alone, however, could not distinguish voluntary position closures from forced liquidations.
Therefore, for Celestia, the depreciation emerged in the midst of a broader retreat in the speculative participation. As the derivatives positions diminished, the market encountered reduced leveraged exposure despite the increased trading activity.
Spot and Futures sellers tighten their grip
The bearish pressure notably extended across Celestia‘s spot and derivatives markets, confirming the weakness evident in its price performance.
As CryptoQuant analytics, $TIA’s Spot Taker Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) highlighted taker-sell dominance, implying aggressive sellers outweighed buyers executing market orders. Additionally, the Futures Taker CVD also showed taker-sell dominance, revealing similar behavior among the derivatives investors.
These readings together pointed towards a coordinated bearish pressure across the two markets. Noteworthy, unlike the falling OI, which implied declining outstanding positions, the CVD indicator highlighted the direction of aggressive trading.
The persistent selling across both markets therefore complicated $TIA’s recovery attempts, and without a stronger buying participation, the token could struggle to reverse its recent losses.
$TIA loses crucial support as bears advance
On the daily timeframe chart, Celestia’s price structure strengthened the bearish outlook after the token broke below the $0.4727 support level.
Notably, the price breakdown emerged after an earlier rejection around the $0.5548 zone, which had already weakened the token’s recovery structure.
The Parabolic SAR indicator, meanwhile, remained above the price at around $0.6616 as of press time, preserving its bearish signal.
Additionally, further weakness emerged from the RSI indicator, which fell to 39.44, remaining below its moving average, and suggesting deteriorating buying strength.
Consequently, the breakdown exposed the $0.3277 level as the next major support, even though buyers still had a better chance of intervening before that level.
A decisive reclaim of the $0.4727 resistance, however, could ease immediate selling pressure and reopen a recovery attempt toward the $0.5548 region.

$GRVT Traders are watching for a broader recovery following months of uneven market performance.
Five cryptocurrencies to watch: QUBIC, TIA, SOL, AVAX, and LTC offer exposure to different blockchain sectors.
Liquidity, Bitcoin's direction, trading volume, and investor demand remain important indicators.
As traders keep an eye on altcoins for potential renewed momentum, the cryptocurrency market may be at a pivotal moment. The months have been a roller coaster ride for the crypto market, but now several sectors are gaining attention due to expectations of a broader market recovery.
Some of the things that are becoming a topic of discussion among market participants are the potential for a better altcoin cycle. There are traders who believe that the ongoing accumulation trend will eventually shift to significant buying pressure, which may lead to favorable trade possibilities in specific digital assets. Others are anticipating that this trend of accumulation will eventually reverse to strong buying pressure, potentially providing trading prospects in certain digital assets. But an upward trend will take more than just positive expectations, as market liquidity, Bitcoin's trend, trading volume, and investor demand will continue to be key factors.
The forecast has also sparked an interest in cryptocurrencies that have alternative applications and roles in the blockchain sector. Nikkei is keeping an eye on the following cryptocurrencies: Qubic (QUBIC), Celestia (TIA), Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Litecoin (LTC).
During conversations about the next altseason, there have been rumours that the returns could be anywhere from 50x to 100x, but these are unlikely to be backed up by facts. However, if these cryptocurrencies have a wider recovery, they will be subject to closer scrutiny by investors as they evaluate their own potential and performance in the market.
Qubic (QUBIC) Draws Attention to Decentralized Computing
Qubic is an emerging blockchain project that is based on distributed network participation and decentralized computing. It's also in the cryptocurrency sphere, which makes it another of the assets to keep an eye on when the discussion about the growth of blockchain applications comes up.
Building up the altcoin space would bring more focus to smaller coins. But adoption, liquidity, network activity, and investor demand would still have to be present to achieve significant growth with QUBIC.
Celestia (TIA) Remains Relevant to Modular Blockchain Development
The focus of Celestia is modular blockchain infrastructure, specifically data availability. It is a technology that breaks down essential blockchain capabilities into modular components, enabling developers to construct networks with these pieces. If the blockchain market is recovering on a larger scale, it might lend itself to TIA being refocused on scalable blockchain infrastructure. The adoption and the demand for modular solutions are still significant.
Solana (SOL) Remains a Major Altcoin Market Watch
Solana remains a significant player in the space of existing blockchain networks. It has an ecosystem that facilitates decentralized applications, decentralized finance, and other on-chain activities.
However, once the market liquidity increases, SOL traders may be more interested in getting their position into proven altcoins. But if prices are to rise, overall market conditions and ecosystem activity will need to remain strong.
Avalanche (AVAX) Targets Expanding Blockchain Applications
Avalanche is a blockchain infrastructure for decentralized applications and customizable networks. It also caters to decentralized finance (DeFi) and various enterprise blockchain applications. The return of interest in other blockchain networks might bring AVAX into market talks. Its performance will be related to its uptake, ecosystem growth, and general cryptocurrency demand.
Litecoin (LTC) Remains on the Altcoin Watchlist
Litecoin has secured its place in the cryptocurrency market, especially in the area of digital payments between peers. It has a long-running history, which sets it apart from newer Blockchain projects.
If more of the altcoins are able to recover, then more attention will be paid to LTC as traders will start to think about other coins. However, its price movements will continue to be driven by liquidity, investor interest, and overall market conditions.
Can the Next Altcoin Season Deliver a Major Rally?
The potential of another altcoin season has these five cryptocurrencies on traders' watchlists. But a breakout across the market has not been confirmed, and one should be wary of expectations and not market signals.
The performance of Bitcoin, growth of altcoin trading volume, liquidity, and continued buying pressure could play a role in whether wider participation emerges. As long as this remains unclear, the performance of individual cryptocurrencies may be very different. While it is uncertain if the altcoin cycle will resume, QUBIC, TIA, SOL, AVAX and LTC are all areas of the blockchain market to watch.
🚨 THE MARKET IS A BATTLEGROUND — SOME COINS ARE BLEEDING, OTHERS ARE READY TO EXPLODE!
🚨 THE MARKET IS A BATTLEGROUND — SOME COINS ARE BLEEDING, OTHERS ARE READY TO EXPLODE!
The crypto market is sending a message that traders cannot afford to ignore: capital is moving, volatility is rising, and chasing green candles or panic-selling red ones can be expensive mistakes.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP are under pressure, while selected smaller tokens and stock-linked assets are showing aggressive moves. The real question is not which coin is pumping today. It is which assets can attract buyers, hold important price levels, and recover when market conditions improve.
Let's break down the coins on the radar and what their current market behavior could mean.
🔥 THE MAJOR COINS: THE MARKET'S DIRECTION STARTS HERE
$BTC — Bitcoin
Bitcoin remains the market's main trend indicator. When BTC struggles, traders often reduce risk across smaller cryptocurrencies. A sustained recovery could restore confidence, but another leg down could trigger more forced selling. Watch whether buyers can reclaim lost ground before assuming the correction is over.
$ETH — Ethereum
Ethereum continues to face the challenge of proving that buyers are ready to return. A strong recovery in ETH could help improve sentiment across the wider altcoin market. Until that happens, rallies may face selling pressure.
$SOL — Solana
Solana remains one of the major assets traders watch for changes in risk appetite. Its speed and active ecosystem keep it on the radar, but a falling market can overwhelm even strong projects. A lasting recovery matters more than a single green candle.
$XRP — XRP
XRP is sensitive to shifts in market sentiment and sudden changes in trading activity. Traders should watch whether it can build a stable base rather than relying on short-lived price spikes.
$BNB — BNB
BNB is another major asset to monitor during periods of market stress. Sharp weakness in large-cap tokens can signal that traders are becoming more defensive. A convincing recovery would help, but no token is immune to wider market pressure.
$DOGE — Dogecoin
Dogecoin thrives on attention and momentum. That can produce explosive rallies, but it can also lead to rapid reversals when excitement fades. The key is to distinguish real buying strength from a temporary burst of speculation.
$PEPE — Pepe
$PEPE remains a high-risk, sentiment-driven asset. Its large trading activity can create opportunities, but meme coins can fall quickly when liquidity disappears. Strong volume and sustained buying would be more convincing than a brief bounce.
$ZEC — Zcash
ZEC deserves attention because privacy-focused assets can move independently of broader narratives at times. However, sharp price movements do not guarantee lasting strength. Traders should watch its trend and liquidity before making long-term decisions.
⚡ THE HIGH-VOLATILITY WATCHLIST
$HYPE — Hyperliquid
$HYPE is worth monitoring for signs of strength during uncertain market conditions. If buyers defend important support and demand improves, it could outperform weaker assets. But if the wider market continues falling, even strong-looking setups can fail.
$INJ — Injective
$INJ is a potential recovery candidate for traders watching blockchain infrastructure and trading-related ecosystems. A sustained trend reversal would be more meaningful than a quick bounce. Patience matters when the overall market remains unstable.
$TIA — Celestia
$TIA offers exposure to the modular blockchain narrative. Its recovery potential depends on renewed demand, market confidence, and whether buyers can overcome selling pressure. A long-term thesis still needs sensible entry prices and risk limits.
$SIREN — Siren
$SIREN belongs in the speculative category, where price swings can be unusually sharp. It may attract attention when traders search for high-volatility opportunities, but that same volatility can punish late entries. Avoid treating momentum as proof of long-term value.
$MAGMA — Magma Finance
$MAGMA has shown notable movement in the market data provided, making it a token to watch rather than blindly chase. After a strong rally, profit-taking can arrive quickly. A more attractive setup would involve price stability, continued demand, and a clear base.
📊 OTHER GAINERS AND LOSERS: OPPORTUNITY OR TRAP?
Several additional assets deserve attention because of their recent price movements.
$PARTI and $BEAMX have appeared among the stronger movers. Strong rallies can attract further buyers, but they can also leave late traders exposed to sudden pullbacks.
$BLESS, $Q, $AIN, and $IDOL are speculative assets where momentum can change quickly. Their next moves will depend on whether buyers continue supporting price after the initial surge.
$LSK, $BIRB, $SOPH, $CAP, $ON, $NIL, $PUNDIX, $BULLA, $EVAA, and $TRX also deserve monitoring for changes in volume and trend direction. A token's appearance among the gainers does not automatically make it a good short, just as appearing among the losers does not automatically make it a good long.
On the weaker side, $INTW, $INTC, $BTW, $SNXX, $RDDT, $SOXL, $MVLL, $MARSCoin, $RED, and $PYTH have featured among the losses in the supplied market data. Some symbols represent stock-linked instruments or other assets rather than ordinary cryptocurrencies, so traders should understand exactly what they are trading before entering a position.
🏦 STOCKS AND TRADITIONAL MARKETS STILL MATTER
Crypto does not operate in isolation. Traders should also monitor major stocks and indexes, including $NVDA, $AAPL, $MSFT, $AMZN, $GOOGL, $META, and $TSLA, along with the S&P 500 ($SPX), Nasdaq-100 ($NDX), and Dow Jones ($DJI).
If investors become less willing to take risks in equities, speculative crypto assets may also face pressure. If confidence improves, risk appetite can return. Gold is another important indicator: stronger demand for safety can reflect uncertainty, although gold and crypto do not always move in opposite directions.
These are assets to watch, not claims that every one is moving in a particular direction right now.
🎯 THE REAL STRATEGY: STOP CHASING, START SELECTING
The biggest mistake in a volatile market is assuming every dip must recover or every rally must continue.
For longer-term positions, focus on three things:
- Trend: Is the asset forming a stronger structure, or is it still making lower lows?
- Demand: Is buying interest continuing, or is the move losing strength?
- Risk: Can you define an exit before entering, without risking money you cannot afford to lose?
Bitcoin's direction, the strength of major altcoins, and the behavior of speculative tokens should all be considered together. No single indicator guarantees the next move.
My view: This is a market for selectivity, not blind aggression. Keep $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, and $XRP on the main watchlist, then evaluate opportunities in $DOGE, $PEPE, $ZEC, $HYPE, $INJ, $TIA, $SIREN, and $MAGMA based on their actual price structure.
The next major opportunity may come from a recovery—or from a deeper shakeout that creates better entries. Either way, protecting capital is what keeps you in the game long enough to take advantage of it.
