The native token INIT is unaffected, and the Initia vulnerability attack may involve a MoveVM Day 0 vulnerability.
According to Odaily, monitoring by Zon indicates that the recent security incident may have originated from a Day 0 vulnerability in MoveVM based on the Cosmos SDK used by Initia. This vulnerability allowed attackers to mint additional tokens on Initia L1, but did not affect the native INIT token. Before the blockchain was suspended, the attackers issued and bridged approximately $2.7 million worth of AUSD, ETH, and USDC. The team is still investigating, and further impacts and details remain to be confirmed.
