- Data released by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) on Friday showed that an oil tanker flying the Maltese flag, carrying 40,000 metric tons of Russian diesel, is heading to New York after an agreement was reached with U.S. President Donald Trump (link).

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin reached an agreement with Trump, in which Russia agreed to lift its self-imposed diesel export ban and to supply diesel to the global market, including the United States, in an effort to reduce fuel prices.
