According to Zhitong Finance APP, on Friday, the storage sector saw widespread declines: SK Hynix (SKHY.US) dropped over 5%, SanDisk (SNDK.US), Western Digital (WDC.US), and Seagate Technology (STX.US) fell more than 4%, and Micron Technology (MU.US) declined over 3%. This week, the main market narrative was the clear cooling off of AI-related trades. As market concerns over the costs of building AI infrastructure intensified, capital flowed out of the technology sector, making chip stocks particularly vulnerable.
