According to Odaily, as monitored by Bitcoin News, in the Ledger supply chain attack, attackers do not need to steal users' Bitcoin immediately. @MagicalTux explained that the implanted program can transmit users' seed phrases to the attacker, who can then wait for the user to accumulate more Bitcoin before emptying their wallet.
