- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran stated that the United States "has not responded for a long time" to its attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and tensions persist between the two countries over control of this strategic waterway.
- According to Revolutionary Guard spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, in an interview with national television, they have continued to attack and prevent small vessels attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz, while the US side has not responded for a considerable time.
- In recent weeks, some Iranian media have repeatedly reported explosions and unusual sounds near Hormuz, and the UK-based maritime monitoring organization UKMTO has also reported several related incidents.
- Against the backdrop of ongoing US-Iran confrontation and obstruction of passage through the Strait, risks to crude oil supply continue to cause disturbances in the market.
