Avalanche (AVAX), a leading layer-1 blockchain, has attracted increased institutional interest following a major move by Goldman Sachs. The global banking giant has integrated its flagship Treasury fund onto Lynq, a permissioned Avalanche-based platform focused on institutional digital asset activity.
Goldman Sachs brings Treasury fund to Avalanche via Lynq, AVAX targets $12
Goldman Sachs taps Avalanche’s Lynq for Treasury access
Goldman Sachs is now offering eligible clients exposure to US Treasuries through Lynq, a private platform built on Avalanche and designed for use by institutional digital asset firms. This integration allows institutions to access Treasury products within the same infrastructure they use for trading and settling cryptocurrencies, minimizing the need to switch between separate financial networks.
Lynq currently serves over 30 major names in the institutional crypto space, including market makers and custodians such as B2C2, Wintermute, Galaxy, FalconX, and Fireblocks. This network enables institutions to efficiently allocate idle cash between trades without leaving the digital asset environment.
The entry of Goldman Sachs, a major force in traditional finance, marks a key step in bridging conventional financial instruments with blockchain networks through the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs).
By moving its Treasury fund onto Avalanche, Goldman Sachs expands blockchain utility beyond crypto trading, supporting its use for capital management and settlement in institutional markets.
Recent data from Avalanche indicates a $266 million increase in RWA market capitalization on the network over the past month. This expansion surpasses the combined RWA growth of the next two largest competitor chains.
The growing adoption of tokenized RWAs on Avalanche highlights the sector’s transformation, as financial institutions seek efficient blockchain solutions for modernizing asset infrastructure.

AVAX price reclaims key levels as analysts monitor resistance zones
AVAX’s price has responded positively to these institutional developments, recovering from its summer lows. The token has reclaimed the $10 level, which previously served as significant horizontal support, and is now trading towards $11 to $12.
Technical analysts are closely watching whether AVAX can sustain momentum above this reclaimed support. The $12 resistance zone, last tested in September, is seen as a critical threshold that could signal further gains if breached.
According to Crypto Bullet, reclaiming the key horizontal level opens up upside price targets of $25, $65, and $147, though reaching these levels depends on continued strength and further breakthroughs above current resistance.
ANALYSTS also note that failure to hold above $10 could undermine the recovery, making this price an important benchmark for ongoing technical setups.
AVAX’s renewed strength coincides with heightened futures activity and broader institutional adoption, underscoring a shift towards real-world asset integration instead of pure speculative trading.

Continued growth in Avalanche’s RWA sector and the integration of major institutional products like the Goldman Sachs Treasury fund could provide fundamental support to AVAX’s ongoing recovery. Market participants are watching closely as real-world assets gain traction in the digital asset ecosystem.
