The rollout will be limited to eligible Axis Bank cards on Visa and Mastercard, not RuPay, and to merchants and terminals enabled for the service, the report said. Apple is seeking a fee of about 20 basis points per transaction, and HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI Card are not expected to support the service at launch as fee talks continue, one of the people said, according to the report.
