08:44 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- MongoDB (MDB) said Monday that Chief Executive and President Chirantan CJ Desai is stepping down from his roles, effectively immediately, in order to pursue a senior role at Meta Platforms (META). MongoDB's board has appointed Dev Ittycheria as interim president and CEO, effective immediately, the company said. Ittycheria previously served as president and CEO of MongoDB from 2014 to 2025.
