ACI, Cognizant Say BASE24-eps Sustained Double its Target Transaction Load Without Single Failure

08:26 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ACI Worldwide (ACIW) and Cognizant Technology (CTSH) said Monday that BASE24-eps, a foundational component of ACI's card acquiring and issuing offering, sustained over double its target transaction load for 30 minutes with no failed transactions during testing. The company conducted a simulated point-of-sale load for BASE24-eps on Amazon's (AMZN) cloud computing unit, Amazon Web Services, according to a statement. The companies said the simulated point-of-sale test processed more than 4.6 million transactions without a failure. Cognizant Technology ran the performance testing end-to-end in a non-production environment, which included designing the target architecture and deploying BASE24-eps using an AWS account operated by ACI, the companies further said.
