Lee Jae-myung chaired a government-business meeting on Tuesday to review progress in semiconductor and AI projects

The South Korean presidential office has announced that President Lee Jae-myung will preside over a joint government-enterprise meeting at 3:00 PM local time on Tuesday to review the progress of large-scale projects such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, and physical AI. The meeting will discuss measures to improve the living conditions of residents in areas where major government projects are located. It will also review steps to expand the application of physical AI and AI robots, as well as the progress and future planning of AI data centers to support regional economic growth. Ministers from various departments will report on the progress and plans for the southern semiconductor industrial belt. Senior officials from the presidential office and ministers from various departments will attend the meeting, and executives from Samsung Electronics and SK Group will also be present.
