Madison Dearborn Partners plans to acquire USCF parent company Marygold, Tim Rotolo will become CEO, Wu Blockchain Deep Dive Edition
Wu Blockchain has learned that private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners announced it has reached a definitive acquisition agreement with The Marygold Companies (NYSE American: MGLD). Marygold shareholders will receive $2 cash per share, representing a 100% premium over the pre-announcement share price. The transaction will provide capital investment to Marygold’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ETF management platform USCF. Tim Rotolo will become CEO of Marygold and will work with MDP and the USCF management team to drive the expansion of the ETF platform. The transaction has not yet been closed.
