Daura Gold Upsizes a Private Placement of Share Units to CA$3 Million

08:27 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Daura Gold (DGC.V) on Wednesday upsized a non-brokered private placement offering of share units to CA$3 million, up from its prior CA$2 million target. The company will now place up to 13.04 million units, with each priced at CA$0.23 and made up of a share and one half of a two-year warrant to buy a share for CA$3.75. The company plans to use the proceeds to advance its exploration activities in Argentina and Peru, and for general working capital purposes, it added. "We are very pleased with the level of interest in the financing and the support from both existing and new investors," said chief executive Mark Sumner. "The additional capital will further strengthen our position as we enter an active period of exploration, with Phase II drilling at Cerro Bayo and initial drilling at La Flora in Argentina, while continuing to advance Antonella toward its planned Phase I drill program in Peru." The company's shares closed up CA$0.02, or 8.5%, to CA$0.255 Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
