ProPetro's Propwr Division Signs Contracts for 230 MW With Targa Subsidiary

07:54 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ProPetro's (PUMP) Propwr business unit signed new long-term contracts with a Targa Resources (TRGP) subsidiary for around 230 megawatts of power generation capacity, ProPetro said. The contracts will provide behind-the-meter power to support Targa's investment in natural gas processing infrastructure in the Permian Basin, with full deployment expected in early 2028, the company said. ProPetro said the new contracts bring total capacity committed under contract for PROPWR to approximately 510 MW, including previously announced oil-and-gas power capacity that is no longer under contract.
