NEAR Protocol Intents Hit $1.1B Weekly Volume as Token Eyes $5
- NEAR Intents processed $1.117 billion across solver-routed swaps within seven days.
- NEAR buybacks have already reached $2.13 million during the current quarter.
- Analysts watch $5 resistance while $2.60 to $2.80 defines potential support.
NEAR Protocol drew renewed attention after Intents handled $1.117 billion in trading volume over seven days. NEAR rose 8.1% to about $3.73 after touching $3.90 intraday. The increase followed record activity across its solver-based exchange system. Traders are now weighing a possible run toward $5 against support between $2.60 and $2.80.
NEAR Protocol Intents Route $1.1B Without Wrapped Assets
Instead of sending assets through a conventional bridge, users specify their desired outcome. A request might exchange native BTC for native SOL. Independent solvers compete to identify and execute the most efficient route.
That process avoids minting wrapped versions for each transfer. Funds also don’t sit in a single traditional bridge contract during settlement. Users receive the requested asset without managing the underlying route.
Cumulative volume has reached $29.759 billion. Thirty-day volume reached $4.188 billion, while weekly activity totaled $1.117 billion. Current 24-hour volume stands at $227.85 million, down from a recent daily record of $303.42 million.
Total value locked has reached $171.87 million across 26 supported networks. NEAR accounts for 53.5% of that value.
NEAR Protocol Revenue Turns Intents Usage Into Buybacks
Third-quarter gross protocol revenue has reached $10.67 million, data shows. Solvers and distribution channels received $8.54 million, leaving $2.13 million in earnings.
Over the past 30 days, Intents generated $5.87 million in fees and $1.31 million in protocol revenue.
Captured revenue has funded open-market NEAR purchases since February 23. The protocol buys tokens rather than burning them, connecting higher usage with recurring demand.
Matt Hougan said NEAR Protocol has built quietly for years and wider recognition remains early. Founder Illia Polosukhin sees AI as the frontend, with blockchain markets operating behind it. His model also places privacy and user ownership at its center.
He also warned that the weekly move may approach a local top. A correction toward $2.60–$2.80 would create his preferred re-entry range.
