Brinker International is targeting annual double-digit percent growth in adjusted earnings per share through the next three years as its Chili's chain continues to drive growth.
The company, which also owns Maggiano's Little Italy, said Thursday it is also planning for annual revenue to grow between 4% and 6% through fiscal 2029 as it plans to ramp up 30 new restaurants yearly.
Chief Executive Kevin Hochman said he wants to focus on the next phase of growth by doubling down on value-oriented pricing, hospitality and encouraging customers to return to its restaurants.
The company will continue to invest in those areas while adding additional investment for remodeling and for building more new Chili's locations, he said.
Brinker also said it is planning to repurchase 3% to 5% of its common shares annually.
Last month, Brinker guided for profit growth this year and said Chili's again increased its lead in the casual-dining space during the latest quarter, benefiting from recent efforts to improve its food, service and atmosphere, as well as increase its relevance.
In addition, per-person spend at Chili's is nearly $4 below that of its competitors, the company noted at the time.
Companywide same-restaurant sales grew 5% during its fiscal fourth quarter ended June 24 as profit and revenue grew.
