Western Digital to Redeem $109.5 million of Senior Notes Due 2028

08:58 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Western Digital (WDC) said Monday it will fully redeem about $109.5 million of its 3% convertible senior notes due 2028. The redemption is scheduled for Nov. 16 at 100% of the principal amount plus accrued and unpaid interest, but excluding the redemption date, Western Digital said. Western Digital said holders may elect to convert their notes through Nov. 12, with Western Digital currently expecting substantially all holders to convert before the redemption date. The notes have a conversion rate of 26.5231 shares per $1,000 principal amount, the company said. No additional shares will be added to the conversion rate in connection with the redemption, the company said. Shares of Western Digital were 6.3% lower in Monday premarket activity.
