Burford Capital Plans $300 Million Senior Notes Offering

08:43 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Burford Capital (BUR) said Monday that its indirect unit, Burford Capital Global Finance, plans to privately offer $300 million of senior secured notes due 2029. The company said it plans to use the proceeds, along with cash on hand, to redeem its $400 million of 6.25% senior notes due 2028. Burford said it expects to redeem the 2028 notes on Sept. 24, subject to completing the new financing.
