Robinhood August Equity, Crypto Trading Volumes Rise

05:07 PM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Robinhood Markets (HOOD) said Thursday notional equity trading volume in August was $335 billion, up 1% from the previous month. Options contracts traded were 293 million, a decrease of 10% from July, the company said. Crypto notional trading volume in August was $17.5 billion, up 61% from July, Robinhood said. Event contracts traded were 4.7 billion, a decrease of 23%, it said. Funded customers at the end of August were 28.6 million, up about 120,000 from the previous month, the company said. Platform assets were at $384 billion, an increase of 8% from July.
