Meta Launches Muse Personal AI Agent

04:51 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms (META) has launched a new personal artificial intelligence agent to help users complete tasks and pursue goals, the company said Tuesday. The Muse AI agent can send emails, book travel plans, take on goals and continue working after users close the app, Meta said. "Once a person shares a goal with Muse, it helps them develop a personalized plan and coordinate their time and resources, then advances the work on its own. It can open a browser, fill out forms, and negotiate on their behalf," Meta said. The AI agent uses Meta's Muse Spark model and can make purchases through Stripe's Link, with Shop Pay and 1Password support planned. Muse is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android and muse.ai and is expected to launch soon on Meta's AI glasses, the company said.
