Crypto trader Crypto Bitlord stated that he has become “100x more bullish” on XRP after reviewing an in-depth market thesis. Sharing his thoughts with followers on X, Bitlord noted that his previous price targets now seem too conservative and that a new all-time high for XRP in the current cycle is “only logical.” This marks a shift in sentiment for Bitlord, who previously supported XRP with some reservations.
Crypto Bitlord says he is 100x more bullish on XRP, calls ATH this cycle “logical”
The thesis driving market optimism
The thesis that influenced Bitlord was authored by the analyst known as X Finance Bull, who proposed that XRP and the XRP Ledger (XRPL) could serve as foundational infrastructure for a new U.S. Treasury market. The argument focuses on the rising U.S. government debt, which recently surpassed $40 trillion and requires ongoing demand for Treasury securities.
X Finance Bull emphasized that stablecoins now play a significant role in supporting Treasury demand. Under the GENIUS Act, regulated stablecoins are required to maintain a 1:1 reserve backing, typically in short-term U.S. Treasuries. As the circulating supply of these stablecoins increases, so does demand for Treasuries. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has acknowledged this relationship in public statements.
Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, is structured to qualify for Treasury-eligible reserves, with BNY acting as primary custodian. This aligns RLUSD with the broader financial framework promoted by U.S. policymakers.
Mini dictionary: GENIUS Act, short for the “Guaranteed Essential National Innovative United States” Act, is a proposed regulation requiring stablecoin issuers to hold reserves in low-risk assets, such as U.S. Treasuries, to protect users and promote financial stability.
Tokenized Treasuries and XRPL
Expanding beyond stablecoins, X Finance Bull drew attention to tokenized Treasury products already available on XRPL. Projects like Ondo Finance have issued products such as OUSG, allowing institutional investors to gain exposure to short-term U.S. Treasuries directly on the XRP Ledger.
Institutional investors have the ability to mint and redeem tokenized Treasury exposure using RLUSD. Ripple has also allocated $10 million to OpenEden’s initiative focused on tokenized Treasury bills within the XRPL ecosystem. Additionally, Guggenheim Treasury Services has issued Treasury-backed digital commercial paper on XRPL, achieving a Prime-1 rating from Moody’s.
| Ripple | RLUSD | Treasury bills | Stablecoin, institutional reserves |
| Ondo Finance | OUSG | Short-term Treasuries | Institutional investment, tokenized exposure |
| OpenEden | Tokenized Treasury bills | U.S. Treasuries | On-chain liquidity |
| Guggenheim Treasury Services | Digital commercial paper | Treasury-backed | Institutional financing |
These developments highlight how XRPL is being used as a platform for regulated institutional products tied to U.S. government securities.
Community response and XRP’s role
Bitlord’s statements have been echoed by other XRP community members, with many expressing that the asset’s potential upside has not been fully realized by the broader market. Several participants believe that the combination of RLUSD and tokenized Treasury products positions XRP favorably for expanding market demand and liquidity. Some community members agree that an all-time high for XRP appears increasingly likely.
“After reading this I’ve become 100x more bullish on ripple:native. It’s going to be much bigger than we imagine. All my previous price targets need upgrading. Ripple are the biggest holders so of course they want higher prices. An ATH this cycle is only logical.”
X Finance Bull also proposed that XRP can operate as a neutral liquidity bridge. For instance, an institution in Japan holding yen could use XRP to access RLUSD and thereby invest in tokenized U.S. Treasury products, and vice versa. As additional global currencies connect to this ecosystem, overall XRP liquidity could increase to accommodate larger transactions and greater demand. If tokenized Treasuries scale to hundreds of billions of dollars, X Finance Bull contends that XRP’s value would need to increase to match the liquidity requirements of institutions and market makers.
Crypto Bitlord’s endorsement follows recent advancements in the integration of real-world assets on XRPL, further supporting the thesis that the digital asset could become a key player in future financial infrastructure.
X Finance Bull argues that the scaling of tokenized U.S. Treasuries on the XRP Ledger could drive significant appreciation in XRP, as increasing institutional demand for regulated, on-chain products lifts the need for higher volumes of XRP liquidity and circulation.
