Korean beauty company APR's stock price doubles this year; to accelerate global expansion by entering US Costco in September

(1) APR announced that its flagship brand Medicube will enter Costco stores across the United States in September, with its main product, Zero Pore Pad 2.0, to be launched nationwide. Previously, the brand entered Ulta Beauty in August last year, Target in April this year, and Walmart in June, accelerating its expansion in the U.S. market. (2) APR's stock price has risen by nearly 100% this year, with a gain of more than 360% last year. Sales in North America reached 376.3 billion KRW (approximately $273 million) in the second quarter, accounting for 49% of total revenue, making North America a key market for the company. (3) APR was listed on the Korean Kospi in 2024 and currently has a market capitalization of about 17.3 trillion KRW (approximately $12.5 billion), nearly double that of the longtime beauty giant Amorepacific and more than four times that of LG Household & Health Care.
