Lockheed Martin Demonstrates AI-Powered Guam Missile Defense Prototype

05:17 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin (LMT) demonstrated a prototype of its Guam Defense System Battle Manager Suite in a simulated operational environment, the defense contractor said late Wednesday. The company said the system integrates data from multiple integrated air and missile defense systems, including Aegis Guam and IBCS, to provide a unified air picture and use AI analytics to recommend responses to incoming threats. Lockheed Martin said the prototype was integrated into the Army Tactical Systems Integration Lab environment within 24 hours and demonstrated the ability to rapidly incorporate new software and battlefield data.
