Dogecoin, the popular meme-based cryptocurrency, is showing signs of renewed market interest after a recent uptick in ETF inflows. According to data from SosoValue, Dogecoin ETFs reported a daily total net inflow of $146,020 on August 24, following an earlier $654,420 inflow on August 20. These figures indicate a break in the coin’s previous pattern of zero net inflows.

Recent ETF inflow patterns

Historically, Dogecoin’s ETF products have struggled to attract consistent inflows. Earlier in August, after receiving $82,640 on August 4, the ETFs experienced a stretch of six days with no new inflows, followed by a significant $568,840 outflow on August 13. This led to further days without inflows before the recent positive surge began.

Between August 20 and 24, Dogecoin ETFs marked two positive net inflow days within a three-day trading window. These observations exclude weekends, as ETFs do not trade on Saturdays and Sundays.

Date Net Inflow/Outflow
August 4 $82,640 (inflow)
August 13 $568,840 (outflow)
August 20 $654,420 (inflow)
August 24 $146,020 (inflow)

Analysts believe sustained inflows could be a sign of increasing investor confidence, but caution that a consistent streak of positive days would be needed to confirm lasting momentum.

Price movement and resistance levels

Dogecoin made headlines recently for its price rally, which took it from a low of $0.069 on August 19 up to $0.1 over a five-day period. However, the coin failed to hold above the $0.1 mark, with this threshold acting as a clear resistance.

Throughout the rally, Dogecoin’s price broke past its daily 50-day and 200-day moving averages, which had been capping upward movement since late 2025. The uptrend stalled on August 21 as bullish momentum faded, and Dogecoin’s price then retreated to the $0.089 area, floating just above the daily 200-day moving average.

Market participants are now watching to see if bearish traders can push the price below this support level. A breakdown may lead Dogecoin to approach the daily 50-day moving average at $0.073.

After retesting $0.1, Dogecoin faced resistance, with the price now hovering over the daily MA 200 at $0.089 as bulls and bears compete for control.

Possible drivers: Large treasury sale

Amid these technical movements, the Dogecoin market was influenced by news that Cleancore—an AI technology firm—decided to liquidate its Dogecoin holdings to reallocate funds towards artificial intelligence development. Cleancore sold $33.4 million worth of DOGE, exiting its treasury strategy.

The sale coincided with a price pullback, as Dogecoin dropped 3.24% in 24 hours to $0.0898 at the time of reporting, with profit-taking also cited as a contributing factor.

Mini dictionary: Cleancore, a technology company that recently shifted its strategic focus from holding cryptocurrency assets like Dogecoin as part of its treasury to building out initiatives in the artificial intelligence sector.

Cleancore liquidated $33.4 million in DOGE, ending its treasury strategy to focus on AI opportunities.

Valuation drops to a ten-year low! Jensen Huang calls Nvidia the "world's first growth-value stock", but investors don't seem convinced

Nvidia's price-to-earnings ratio has dropped below 17 times, which is only about half of its projected 2025 level. Although revenue and net profit for fiscal year 2027 are expected to grow by 90% and 99% respectively, the company's stock has risen only about 20% this year, significantly lagging behind the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index. Meanwhile, gross margin is expected to decline from 75% in the second quarter to below 72% in the fourth quarter. Rising memory costs and continued pressure from customers developing their own chips, as well as uncertainty over future AI capital expenditures, have become key factors for the market to reassess Nvidia's valuation.
