Sun Communities Appoints Robert Garechana as CFO

07:34 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sun Communities (SUI) said Tuesday it has appointed Robert Garechana as chief financial officer and executive vice president, starting Sept. 8. Garechana will succeed Fernando Castro-Caratini, who will transition to an advisory role with the company, Sun Communities said. Garechana most recently served as chief investment officer at Equity Residential (EQR), the company said. Sun Communities shares were up more than 1% pre-bell Tuesday.
