RippleAura has released a new breakdown of XRP holdings that maps out what is required to join the highest wealth brackets among XRP holders. This classification, based on different wallet balance thresholds, allows investors to compare their holdings with those in specific percentage tiers.
XRP wallet rankings revealed: Top 0.01% hold at least 3.74 million XRP
XRP wealth tiers show wide range in wallet distribution
The ranking begins with the most exclusive category, where owning 3,744,000 XRP places a wallet in the top 0.01% of holders. RippleAura identified this as the level for the largest wallets, highlighting the significant concentration of XRP at the highest tier.
To reach the next level, a wallet must have 280,000 XRP or more, which qualifies for the top 0.1%. The sharp decrease from over 3.7 million XRP to 280,000 XRP between these top groups underlines the steep drop-off between elite tiers.
Owning 160,000 XRP is enough to land in the top 0.2% of wallets, while 80,668 XRP is the threshold for making the top 0.5%. The brackets grow more inclusive as wallet sizes decrease, reflecting a broader distribution among regular investors.
The most prominent tier in RippleAura’s data sets the top 0.01% cutoff at 3,744,000 XRP, followed by 280,000 XRP for the top 0.1%, 160,000 XRP for 0.2%, and 80,668 XRP for the top 0.5%.
Top 1% requires 45,000 XRP, as lower tiers expand
Wallets holding 45,000 XRP enter the top 1% group. Below this, 22,000 XRP marks the top 2% threshold, and 14,114 XRP secures a spot in the top 3% of all wallets. RippleAura’s analysis extends further, noting that 10,000 XRP characterizes the top 4%, while 7,500 XRP covers the top 5% and 2,160 XRP the top 10% of XRP wallets.
Many XRP holders have compared their portfolios to these thresholds, considering how close they come to the upper echelons of the distribution. As the figures demonstrate, only a small fraction of holders manage to reach the uppermost tiers, with the vast majority possessing lower balances.
Holder comparisons and ranking context
The disclosed wallet rankings do not specify the methodology or data sources behind the calculations. As with most cryptocurrency networks, the distribution of assets frequently shifts as coins are traded, accumulated, or transferred. For this reason, these rankings may change over time and should not be considered static indicators of wealth.
RippleAura’s post challenges holders to determine where they stand within the configuration. For users checking their own portfolios, these statistical thresholds provide a quick comparison with the wider XRP ecosystem.
With top-tier wallets holding millions and the top 10% owning at least 2,160 XRP, holders can identify their positions relative to the broader distribution.
Ultimately, RippleAura’s breakdown encourages XRP investors to reflect on their holdings while keeping in mind that the distribution of wealth across wallets is dynamic and can change as the broader market evolves.

"Agent vs US Treasury" — Who Will Dominate the US Stock Market?
The wave of AI Agents and US Treasury yields are splitting the US stock market into two worlds: Meta's release of the Muse model boosted its market value by $220 billion in a single week, propelling the Nasdaq's standout performance; however, excluding AI stocks, the S&P 500 actually fell 1% this week, with the number of new lows on the New York Stock Exchange surpassing new highs for nine consecutive days, signaling the near end of "breadth trading." Goldman Sachs bluntly stated that this is a "frustrating cat-and-mouse game" between the stock market and interest rates—any breakout can be snuffed out by the bond market at any time, so equity holders must short US Treasury bonds to hedge simultaneously.
