H100 Group co-founder: Bitcoin requires institutional adoption to reach its full potential and has multiple use cases
According to Foresight News, Mr. Andersen, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of H100 Group, a Swedish Bitcoin treasury company, posted on Twitter stating that Bitcoin needs institutional adoption to fully realize its potential. The industry is once again experiencing disputes, shortened time windows, the departure of major project CEOs, and company closures, but none of this changes the fundamental nature of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a digital commodity with multiple use cases: cold storage provides freedom and property rights; as digital gold, it can challenge the US dollar as the world's reserve currency; as collateral, it can build optimal credit markets; holding Bitcoin in a permanent capital structure can create new types of public financial companies, enabling the issuance of credit, borrowing with collateral, utilizing capital markets to increase Bitcoin per share, and turning volatility into a product. Just as oil has more than one use, Bitcoin should not be limited to a single use case.
