Noble Mobile, led by Andrew Yang, acquires Helium Mobile's business

Foresight News reports, according to Decrypt, that Helium Mobile, the mobile service provider on the Helium network, has been acquired by Noble Mobile, a low-cost mobile virtual network operator led by Andrew Yang (former US presidential candidate). The terms of the transaction have not yet been disclosed. Helium Mobile once offered a free mobile plan (which was recently discontinued). The company stated that the merged company will offer low-cost service plans.

Frank Mong, COO of Helium Mobile, said that users should expect a smooth transition. This acquisition will not change the Helium network’s business model, which provides Solana-based HNT tokens to hotspot operators who deliver network coverage for operators and users.
