Oobit has frozen part of the EURR funds involved in the StablR security incident and will proceed with further actions.
Odaily reported that the Tether-backed mobile wallet Oobit clarified on X that, after the on-chain investigator ZachXBT revealed that two StablR stablecoin issuer smart contracts (EURR and USDR) suffered an exploit involving approximately $13.5 million, some of the related funds attempted to exit through Oobit. However, Oobit’s compliance team identified suspicious activity and successfully froze a six-figure amount of EURR, while also blocking related operations. This incident did not affect any user funds, and Oobit’s own systems were not breached. Oobit is currently cooperating with StablR and investigators to handle follow-up matters.
