Golden Ten Data Futures, May 12 — According to a survey by SMM, a second-tier silicon wafer company has recently mortgaged its Inner Mongolia facility to a domestic photovoltaic equipment manufacturer, involving an annual silicon wafer production capacity of about 45GW. In addition, the company still retains approximately 28GW of annual silicon wafer production capacity at its Yunnan facility. It is reported that there have been numerous news in the market recently about third-tier silicon wafer companies planning to exit, with the reliability of these sources varying. Overall, the pace of market-based capacity clearing in the photovoltaic industry is accelerating.
