BlockBeats News, May 12th: Today, the official X account of Roaring Kitty, the "Retail vs Wall Street" protagonist of GameStop and the King of Meme Stocks, was hacked in the early morning hours. The hacker released the contract for the Meme coin Red Kitten Crew (RKC), causing the token's market cap to briefly surge to $12 million before plummeting to $1.8 million. Subsequently, Roaring Kitty may have regained control of the account and deleted tweets containing CA.
Although he has not personally posted a clarification, the community generally believes that Roaring Kitty's release of the Meme coin CA was indeed due to the short-term theft of the account.
