Pakistan and Iran hold talks to seek increasing the transit of Qatari liquefied natural gas through the Strait of Hormuz

Meanwhile, Qatar has successfully dispatched its first LNG cargoes since the outbreak of war. Vessel tracking data shows that the "Al Kharaitiyat," which was loaded earlier this month at Ras Laffan export terminal, has exited the Strait of Hormuz and arrived in the Gulf of Oman on Sunday. According to informed sources, this shipment is part of the negotiations between Pakistan and Iran, aiming to allow more Qatari LNG to pass through the Strait of Hormuz to help meet Pakistan's urgent needs.
