According to market research firm Pharmarack, sales of Wegovy, Ozempic, and their partner brand versions reached 32,000 units in April, marking the first full month of data since generic semaglutide was launched in India. Starting from April 1, Novo Nordisk lowered the starting dose prices of both drugs by 36% and 48% respectively, bringing the price down to 5,660 rupees (approximately 60 US dollars).
