Glonghui, May 1|Tesla disclosed in its revised annual filing that last year, it generated more than $500 million in revenue through product sales to two other companies under Elon Musk. In January this year, Tesla for the first time disclosed that the main part of this revenue, about $430.1 million, came from business dealings with Musk’s AI startup xAI. In the revised filing submitted on Thursday, the automaker added that it also recognized $143.3 million in revenue from Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX), Musk’s privately held aerospace company. This latter figure was not disclosed in Tesla's initial annual report released in January this year. Earlier this month, media reports indicated that SpaceX purchased Cybertrucks worth more than $100 million in the fourth quarter of last year—referring to Tesla’s electric pickup truck that has seen lackluster sales performance.
