Northern Trust reaches agreement with Digital Asset to connect to Canton and expand tokenized asset custody capabilities
Foresight News reports that an exchange has announced it has reached an agreement with Digital Asset Holdings to connect to the Canton Network blockchain infrastructure. This integration will support parallel custody of digital and traditional assets, and create collaborative opportunities for other regulated partners.
Canton Network is a public blockchain specifically designed for regulated financial institutions. As of the end of September 2025, the exchange’s total assets under custody and management reached 20 trillion US dollars.
