CertiK: Security losses have reached nearly 800 million dollars since 2026, with North Korea-related incidents accounting for around 42%.
Foresight News reports that, according to CertiK monitoring, since January 1, 2026, 163 security incidents have been recorded, with total losses of approximately $796.7 million. Among them, at least 12 incidents were linked to North Korea, involving Step Finance, Bitrefill, Drift Protocol, and others, with losses totaling about $329 million, accounting for approximately 42% of the total losses. By comparison, in 2025, North Korea-related losses accounted for about 60% of the total losses.
