This personnel arrangement has been officially disclosed through a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. According to the announcement, this interim personnel change is intended to ensure the continuity and stability of the company’s financial management. As the founder and CEO of Annovis Bio, Maria Maccecchini has a deep command of the company’s strategic planning and operational systems. Her temporary role as CFO will effectively coordinate the advancement of financial strategy with research and development progress. Currently, Annovis Bio is focused on the clinical development of drugs for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. The company stated it will initiate the selection process for a new Chief Financial Officer as soon as possible to strengthen the expertise of its financial management team.
