Five Major Rating Upgrades

  1. Mizuho upgraded Palantir (PLTR) from Neutral to Outperform, with the target price unchanged at $195. The firm noted the company's total revenue growth, accelerating momentum, and margin expansion, stating that “Palantir's scale performance is unique in the software industry.”
  2. Rosenblatt upgraded Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) from Neutral to Buy and raised the target price from $335 to $360. The firm believes the company's fourth quarter results were “comprehensively robust.”
  3. Baird upgraded Itron (ITRI) from Neutral to Outperform, raising the target price from $118 to $128, and recommended buying after the fourth-quarter earnings report.
  4. Citizens upgraded Rush Street Interactive (RSI) from Market Perform to Outperform, with a target price of $24. The firm stated the company “continues to prove it has built one of the most resilient business models in the online gaming space.”
  5. TD Cowen upgraded Medpace (MEDP) from Sell to Hold, lowering the target price from $462 to $419. The firm noted that the stock has retreated from its valuation peak and now reflects reasonable value.

  4. Truist downgraded Genuine Parts (GPC) from Buy to Hold, lowering the target price from $162 to $127. While business spinoffs are theoretically positive, the automotive segment continues to disappoint.
  5. BTIG downgraded Masimo (MASI) from Buy to Neutral after Danaher (DHR) announced the $180 per share cash acquisition of Masimo.
