January Sees Growth in Private Sector Jobs and Wages

In January, the private sector added 22,000 new positions, while annual wages experienced a 4.5% increase, as reported by the latest ADP National Employment Report®. This report, developed by ADP Research in partnership with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab, offers an independent analysis of the U.S. labor market, drawing from anonymized payroll data representing over 26 million private-sector workers nationwide.

Additionally, ADP's Pay Insights tracks more than 15 million monthly pay change records, providing a detailed look at compensation trends. By combining employment figures with pay data, these reports deliver a comprehensive view of workforce and salary developments across the country.
