Vitalik: New AI labs should focus on human augmentation tools rather than long-term autonomous systems
Foresight News reported that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that if someone wants to establish a new "AI laboratory because existing labs are not beneficial to humanity," there should be a clear charter focusing on human augmentation tools and not developing any projects with more than one minute of autonomous time. In addition, he called for open-sourcing code as much as possible.
